I once heard someone say that the economy is always good and it’s always bad depending on who you ask and what industry they’re in. An industry that’s thriving today may not be doing very well in a few years from now and vice versa.
Being in any of the construction trades is known to be “recession proof” type of careers. But that doesn’t necessarily mean that you’ll still be with your current employer or that you’ll keep your same clients and contracts in the event that the economy changes.
But when that change occurs, how will we adapt? How will we find that new niche? What will we do in order to stay ahead of our financial goals and responsibilities? And what can we do in order to get a head start?
