Nebraska requires 12 hours of continuing education every two years. Your course must be complete by 11:59pm on December 31th of even years. If you do not complete your course by December 31st you will have to retake your Nebraska licensing exam. Nebraska does not allow you to make up continuing education if you miss the deadline. Your course will shut down at 11:59pm on December 31st of even years and you will no longer have access to it.

- All electrical licenses and apprentice registrations issued by the State Electrical Board expire on December 31 of even-numbered years.
