About the Exam
This 100 question exam is designed to test your knowledge regarding the 2020 National Electrical Code book. Here, you will be able to test your code knowledge to better prepare you for your state exams. In our Materials tab, you can print off the exam and study, while reviewing our answer key. In the Lesson Content tab, you can take our timed and untimed exam. The Untimed exam, which offers an answer justification after every question you answer. Helping to reinforce the answers you get correct and to aid you in code citations, excerpts as explanations and calculations, so you can better understand why you didn’t get an answer correct. And when you are finally ready to simulate exam day, go ahead and take our timed practice exam. You will have 6 hours to take this exam. There is a chart available within the exam that allows you to either go back, forward or mark a question if you feel the need to come back to certain questions you could be struggling with.
How many times can I take the exam?
You can take the exam as many times as you want. We recommend practicing with the untimed version a few times to get comfortable with studying code. Once you’ve gotten a few under your belt, taking a timed version will help you practice for exam day.
Charges
Charges are rewards you earn for engaging in our learning system. When you pass this exam with a score of 75% or higher, you’ll receive 400 charges per attempt, up to a maximum of 5 successful attempts. Achieving a perfect score of 100% grants a one-time bonus of 700 charges added to your account. Unfortunately, you will not receive charges from printing off the PDF.
