About the video
This lesson provides a hands-on demonstration of Allen-Bradley PLC hardware and software, focusing on basic ladder logic programming. You’ll learn about the CompactLogix Controller and its input and output modules, including discrete and analog channels. The video demonstrates simple ladder logic examples, such as turning on and off a light using input switches and timers, and adjusting voltage with potentiometers. By understanding these practical examples, you’ll gain insight into how PLCs control various processes in industrial automation, using the popular Studio 5000 Logix Designer software.
