About the video

This lesson explains the differences between arc-fault, ground-fault, and dual-function breakers, highlighting their roles in protecting electrical systems. Arc-fault breakers (white button) detect dangerous arcing conditions, while ground-fault breakers (yellow button) respond to ground faults where an energized conductor touches a grounded surface. Dual-function breakers (purple button) combine both protections, ensuring comprehensive safety. The video also discusses the importance of proper installation and the use of two-pole breakers for specific applications. Understanding these breakers helps in preventing electrical fires, shocks, and other hazards, ensuring a safer electrical environment.
