Idaho Electrical License Renewal
License Renewal Period:
- All electrical licenses in Idaho are valid for three years from the date of issue.
Journeyman and Master Electricians:
- Complete 24 hours of continuing education (CE) during each three-year license period.
- Of the 24 hours, a minimum of 8 hours must be dedicated to Code Update training.
- The remaining 16 hours can cover any combination of topics, including Code Update, Code-Related, or Industry-Related training.
- Complete Continuing Education: Ensure you finish the required 24 hours of CE within the current license period.
- Submit Renewal Application: Renew your license online through the Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses portal.
- Pay Renewal Fee: Include the necessary renewal fee with your application.
- Maintain Records: Keep certificates of completion for all CE courses, as they may be required for verification.
