I often have notebooks, paperwork, files, a codebook, and other things that I need to keep in my truck. Traditionally I just used my passenger seat or the top of my center console for this, which meant that every so often all of my stuff went flying through my truck lol. I needed something to put all of it in that keeps it tucked away and secure.

I’m able to fit my 15-inch Macbook Pro as well as full pads of paper, the current National Electrical Code book, and a whole host of other files and documents insde. I also use use the inside to store things that I want to keep track of, or keep from being damaged by other tools knocking around. An example of this is my $600 Greenlee circuit tracer, my Husky crossline laser, and many of my really high-end testers and multi-meters.

The outside of the bag is great for storing extra things as well. Since I put this in the center of my back seat, I’m able to keep a tape-measure, some tape, pens, and markers there so all I have to do is turn around and grab these things if I need to get ahold of them quickly.

For me, since I’ve got this sandwiched into the back seat of my truck between other bags and bins, I don’t have a use for the side pouches and pockets. If this was a stand alone bag, I most likely would use these, however it’s more of a pain for me to try to get into them than anything (how I’m using it).

The Pro Mobile Office Organizer also comes with a strap on the back side so you can secure it with a seatbelt. That way there’s less chance of you slamming on the breaks, and this thing going flying. How my truck is set up right now I don’t really have that issue.

Summary

This is a really good bag/box for your truck. If you need something to keep all of the important “non-tools” in something, while having the versatility of putting some tools in it, this is a great little bag to have. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.
